Thanks Again

2010 has been another great year here at the Checker Berry Shoppe and it wouldn't have happened without all of you.  We love coming to work everyday because so many folks are always dropping by to visit and shop. 

We hope that everyone has had a healthy and happy holiday season, and look forward to seeing everybody again next year!

Back to School

Come in soon to check our Back-To-School display.  You will find some interesting school memorabilia including vintage photos, an elementary school desk, a typewriter and a letterman jacket.

Be sure to visit the booth of our newest vendor.  She has orginal gourd artwork, with exquisitely carved and painted designs.  She has even won an award for her craftsmanship at a gourd show in Perry, Georgia this year.

We currently have this charming 3-piece enamel and gingham covered chairs set.  Add a splash of color to your kitchen.

Founders Day

What a fun day!  This year's Founders Day was another great one.  There was a big turnout for the parade.

The local high school marching band did a terrific job, and there were all types of floats showing community pride.

             

These folks in front of Checker Berry, had a good seat for the parade.

  Lots of local crafts, art, and food too.

 We love our customers, and had a good time visiting with them and enjoying refreshments.
